Learning Strategy Advisor 

Location Requirements: Hybrid to Wayne or Naperville. Remote candidates will be considered

Your role on the team: 
 
Reporting to the Vice President of Learning & Development, the Learning Strategy Advisor (LSA) will be a core member of the Learning & Development (L&D) team.
 
The Learning Strategy Advisor is responsible for managing the “enablement program” for products within a pillar.  This requires strong stakeholder partnerships to develop and deploy high-quality instructional materials that support Frontline’s efforts to provide enablement programs for internal and external customers. The Learning Strategy Advisor is considered a subject matter expert in learning with a solid understanding of the product portfolio to ensure the learning is seamless for customers and we are delivering a “One Frontline” learning experience. The LSA will collaborate and coordinate with Sr. LSAs as needed for guidance and alignment of standards across all enablement efforts. 
 
The individual will also understand the Client Enablement Methodology and content / learning development lifecycle to design, develop, pilot, refine, to create repeatable learning experiences and services across solutions and the Fee to Free continuum to serve client learning, consulting, and technical needs.  
 
You can expect to
  • Serve as a learning/services development leader to partner with SMEs and the Learning Experience Team (LX) to build out a robust catalogue of effective services across multiple modalities and solutions, based on product and service prioritization to provide a consistent effective client experience throughout the client lifecycle 
    • Focus on designing learning experiences that provide high-quality, accessible and results-based learning opportunities for our clients to help them increase adoption by realizing the full value of Frontline Education solutions and/or enhance business processes in designated K12 domains 
    • Organize, contribute and develop services that are scalable and grounded in the Learning Framework; these services will be offered through different learning modalities, including interactive webinars, seminars, certifications, custom consulting or self-service learning experiences, offered via in-person, VILT, blended or on-demand methods 
    • Regularly review client results, facilitator and cross-functional feedback, impact data, and the Learning Framework to evaluate and monitor needs to drive the design, development, delivery and maintenance of effective professional services  
  • Facilitate billable Learning & Consulting services 
    • Pilot services delivery to identify necessary refinements to learning content or process 
    • Support clients in achieving expected learning outcomes 
    • Attain target average annual utilization rate if applicable to work assignments  
  • Partner with Professional Services, Operations, Support, and Product to strengthen services execution and achieve operational efficiencies  
    • Support implementation and refinement of tools and processes to promote operational efficiencies and streamline and scale the PS business 
    • As needed, coordinate and contribute to onboarding and ongoing cultivation of contract facilitators to deliver professional services to clients; keep them updated on services changes; assist in the evaluation of their performance; and analysis their feedback to improve services  
  • Collaborate with other teams across Professional Services, the Client Success organization, and the company as a whole 
    • As needed, work with Delivery leaders to determine custom consulting requirements and contribute to SOW development to meet their needs 
    • Contribute to the development and delivery of internal employee learning initiatives, such as the ongoing Facilitation Professional Growth Opportunity 
    • Collaborate within and across solution verticals to promote available services and stay connected about product changes  
  • Lead and contribute to other strategic projects, as needed 
  • Manage complex issues and mentor team members with the support of the Sr. LSA as needed 
  • Effectively work with the broader organization to manage and address conflicts that arise with the support of the Sr. LSA as needed

  • Previous experience working with education software supporting Student Management is a plus 
  • Ability to learn new software solutions quickly and develop a deep enough understanding to deliver training on that software to new users 
  • Ability to collaborate and develop effective working relationships with other Frontline Education staff or initiative stakeholders 
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, with minimal supervision, resulting in effective deliverables on deadline 
  • Emerging domain knowledge of our clients’ business processes and how they use our solutions 
  • Emerging product knowledge with Frontline solutions or other related offerings 
  • Adaptability to adjust to evolving priorities to meet business needs  
  • Creativity and imagination to bring fresh ideas to the design of robust, engaging, results-based learning experiences

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • 10 years’ experience in the K12 EdTech/software (or related) industry 
  • 10 years designing and developing content for adult learners in a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or tech company, with a focus on instructional media, e-learning, or product training 
  • Demonstrated history of successfully designing impactful client services and related learning experiences 
  • Success in applying change management strategies while collaborating with internal teams to move the work forward within native solution 
  • Experience facilitating professional services, built on adult learning principles  
  • Demonstrated ability to research and stay current on learning trends and effectively operationalizing instructional best practices 
  • Experience with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate  
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and best practices in SaaS solution enablement; ability to design and develop content across modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong client-centered facilitation skills 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Strong technical skills or ability to quickly learn technical concepts 
  • Passion for continuous learning and progressive improvement 
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences 
  • Track record of business process improvement
